2012 Australian Lunar II DRAGON. Mintage: Only 1,895 coins! The second release of the Lunar Series II, the 2012 Colourized Silver Lunar Year of the Dragon, features a traditional chinese dragon. The colourized Dragon has a ruby inset in one of its eyes. The reverse side shows Queen Elizabeth II. This Silver coin is extremely large; it contains a full kilogram of pure Silver and measures a full 4 inches in diameter and over a half-inch thick. The Perth Mint of Australia employs its own proprietary colourization technology, in which the colour is actually sealed onto the coin.
